Hacking R4i Gold Deluxe Region Free question and Putting a new game on the sd card?

Hi guys, for the R4i Gold Deluxe,
Do games from different regions automatically work like a japenese rom on an american 3ds, or do you have to do something first.

And, If I use the disk imager to put a different game on an an sd card that already had a game, will the ave date be lost or still be on the sd card?

1. Yep.
2. The savegame is stored on the SD card of the 3DS if you mean that (not the MicroSD).

As long as you have the latest version of the R4i Gold Deluxe launcher, out of region ROMs should work. Also, save data is stored on the SD card in the 3DS itself, not the microSD inserted in the R4i, so your save data should be fine.
