so i do all the steps correctly i am on version 4.5.0 and when i do all the steps correctly the game shows up! but when i launch it it says "the game card has been removed press the home button to return home" or something along the lines of that does anyone know what is wrong? any help is appreciated

Don't work on that card. Only work on Gateway & MT card.

If you purchased that clone cart just for Pokémon, you might want to look into return options so you can get an MT or Gateway, or you're SOL.
