Hacking R4i cheats (help)

i have an r4i (gold sticker) and i cant get the cheats to work.
then i noticed that the cheats are in .cht format
example Super Mario.cht

Because the cheat.dat and usrcheat.dat cant be read on r4i-gold, the only way for cheats to work on it is if the cheats are added in .cht format. Unfortunately this means the only way for people like us to add cheats to the r4i gold is to add them in .cht format wich is a very time consuming process.

may i know which r4i gold are we talking about?
