Hacking R4i 3DS Gold can only play one ROM.

I've had probably every problem under the sun, but this is new.

For whatever reason, I can only play one Rom.

If I want to change it, I have to reformat the TF and put a different ROM.

I tried it with Metroid Prime, and it worked.

I added Dragon Ball Z, and that worked, but Metroid didn't.

Why is this?

I'm betting it's the SD.

I bought it on Ebay, and it looked legit because of the Kingston packaging, but when I got it, it was taped to a small piece of cardboard.

well that sounds super legit. Have you checked the size? and if so does it correspond to the "card" you were sold?

the card is a Kingston Class 4 4GB.

Yeah, this is for DS games.

if so it should probably not become a new one. i think the advice there is correct you need to try another microsd reader first buddy and test that.

i had a dstwo and i never should have gotten rid of it. Great card. GBA emulation was pretty good i miss not being able to play Metroid Fusion and Zelda The Minish Cap on my 3ds. I wish nintendo would bring the gba ambassador games to the eshop.

They should, Minish Cap is my third favourite Zelda.

I'm getting my free R4i soon, so I can try it with a new reader and flashcart.

Right now, I can only play Metroid Prime Hunters. It will do for now, the multiplayer in that game is fantastic!
