R4i SDHC 3DS and R4i Gold 3DS card are two popular r4i 3DS cards currently. Both of them successfully broke Nintendo 3DS console and run 2D games.
But which is better for 3DS console? Which 3DS card should players choose?

Of course R4i gold 3DS. I just got one with 8GB card from PickEgg. And it only needs 19 bucks with shipping. Totally works with my Nintendo 3DS.

every one has their own merits.

R4i gold 3ds card can share the same kernel with r4i ds gold, yet, the r4i-sdhc 3ds doesn't share with its successor.yet,r4i-sdhc 3ds with anti-fake functions and wifi kernel update supporting.

with R4i-SDHC you can upgrade firmware from 3DS. (info from www.r4i-sdhc.com)
with R4i gold you can NOT upgrade firmware from 3DS. You need to do that from NDSi/L. (info from www.r4ids.cn).

I own R4i gold, but planning to buy R4i-SDHC because this reason above. Or will wait few weeks for some news/updates from r4ids.cn and if not then buy SDHC version.

both carts are shitty clones
go with the r4i gold (from r4ids.cn)since YWG helps support it with wood

my advice, avoid both these cheap crappy clones and buy a real flash cart

You know, I don't think this should be at the console section...

On topic, neither. Get a reliable one such as cyclo, acekard or supercard. There's more to add though

Acekard is a good yet affordable option

In my opinion,R4i Gold 3DS is better.
It work on wood firmware ,which is the best homebrew firmware ,updates very regularly.
and it can support the latest version, such as DSi V1.43 and 3DS V3.0.0-6.
It has nice features, such as good homebrew compatibility(cheat, clean ROMs).

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
