I just got my R4DS and it seem to not work. All I get is the loading screen.
What kind of MicroSD are you using?
Blow inside the microSD slot and make sure all contacts are rid of dust.
Did you put the kernel on the MicroSD card and or update the kernel?
I am using 1GB Sandisk microSD. I tried blowing in microsd slot and the ds slot still not working at all.
Even when I dont have my microSD in the R4 DS is still say loading. I had 4 other R4 DS and all them worked fine.
Did you put the kernel on the microSD?
I am positive this means your R4 is defective.
Get a refund or exchange it for a new one.
When you don't have an SD in the R4, it should say SD/TF card not found. IT only stays on Loading if your Micro SD isn't in all the way.
I bought the R4 DS at consolesource, so I will get a new one from them?
Anybody know how long does Consolesource respond to a message?
First , Try another microsd card if you can
Second , Try blowing inside the DS the Cart and the MicroSD
Third , Try getting all the files out of the MicroSD and putting them agian
Fourth , Check if you have the kernel files inside , And if they have a fixed size
Fifth , Don't put anything on the microSD , Put it inside the R4DS , open DS , let it open whatever it shows(error probably) , Close the DS , Put kernel folder ONLY on the R4DS AND DONT DELETE ANYTHING!
Thats the best possibiltys I wouldve done if my R4 wouldn't of worked.

You said you have 4 R4DS. if so, get one of the ones that works. Take its MicroSD card out, and put it in the one that doesn't work. if it works, you have a defective MicrosSD. format that card and try again. If it still doesn't work w/ that other microsd card, something is wrong w/ the R4. You can try to open it, look for anything wrong. maybe the spring is stuck, making it think the microsd is stuck. I'd just ask for a refund.
I'm trying to exchange my R4 DS for a new one, but Consolesource has yet respond to my e-mail.
Get a new R4, yours is busted, it seems.
What the purpose of the ticket on consolesource? It been over 48 hours and I havent got response yet.
Open the cart and make sure no components are loose and/or badly soldered.
