why is there a c ompatibilty list ? all roms work with the R4ds only thing that is in question is WIFI stuff and downlaod play

That's an assumption. Of course, everything that's been thrown at it so far has run just fine, but every single rom has not been tested, so we can't say that for sure. And even if it is all 100% compatible, at least this list will help us sift out all the other stuff (which work with download play, what homebrew runs, etc.). Anywho, like the thread title says, "R4DS Just got it delivered!" Went outside this morning and there it was. Took 1 day to ship, hell, not even one day, 9 hours according to the tracking number

I just got mine from modchipstore.com in one day as well. I selected 2 day shipping but DHL decided to surprise me 
The only problem is that the MicroSD card I ordered from newegg with 2 day shipping won't get here until tomorrow, so all I can do with the R4 today is look at it.

But, I've got a 1GB Kingston and I can try to do some testing if wanted.
Katalyst is right. (Congrats on your REALLY QUICK delivery... I ordered from China -> South Africa took 6 days because of Saturday + Holidays)
From 1.00 --> 1.04 there had been about 10 roms that got fixed which had problems... (Not talking about download play here)
Peoples been testing the ROMs out I see... I like those green bars keep appearing in the wiki compatibility list....
Some has Firmware 1.05... Possibly Chinese guys testing the rom as well???

Yeah, I ordered from modchipstore too (an M3 Simply though), but they sent me the wrong item, a Transcend 1gb MicroSD card, which I don't even need.
