When I close my DS Lite's lid, the green status light on my ds stays on instead of blinking. Anyone else have this problem?

What game are you playing? Some games simply don't go into sleep mode.

I thought sleep mode was a required ability in all DS games. Seems I remember reading somewhere that Nintendo required all developers to include sleep mode in DS games. Guess not, eh?

AFAIK all games licenced by Nintendo have to support sleep mode, but I don't know if they are required to blink the LED while sleeping.

Many homebrew projects do not support sleep mode.

Animal Crossing does not sleep. It shuts off the display but everything else runs.
