Hacking R4 Set Up for newbie

Hey Guys,
I just got the R4 .
opened it and the cd does not really have instructions on it.
just reading from the the review here that the cd does not really have anything.

How do I use the R4? i got my micro SD and not sure how to put stuff on it.

please help.

Place all the files in the root folder for the microsd card.Make a "roms" folder then place the rom in there?

1. Download and place latest firmware on your MicroSD.
2. Put everything else you want on there (roms, homebrew etc.)

Here I was, thinking I was the only one who thought that.

Yeah.. Sadly, it's true. They only make a couple posts asking how to pirate and they never log back on GBAtemp, ever again.
