Hacking R4 SDHC Dual core not working - 6.2.0-12E

I have the white version of this flash cart (http://www.r4isdhc.com) (the 2013 version) but it doesn't work on my 3ds XL version 6.2.0-12E. This is the only one available in my area and the shop keeper even tried updating it through another DS by downloading the new update.

Does this cart not support version 6.2.0-12E? If not, when will it?

If it's not one of the top two and also has a 2013 NEW sticker or something, then it's not going to be updated. R4-SDHC and such are known clone teams, they drop older models and stop giving them updates all the time.

Just order a cart online, if at all possible.

Because most of what you'll find in physical shops are the cheapest clones that can get their hands on so they make the most profit.

No, it has all the sticker and 2013 written on it yet it still doesn't work. I think the shop keeper said that the DS (not my 3ds xl) was not picking up the card. He said that they haven't released an update for 6.2.0-12E. Is it true?

You can look on the download page for yourself, there's multiple models and updates are often only for the latest.

What exactly happens when you try to run it?
