spring loaded old style??

one solution is to open the R4 and REMOVE the SPRING

I know your pain... my m3 simply did the same thing (which is why I now have the m3 real)

You might eventually regret fully removing that spring. (Many people have) When superglued-into-place it makes a perfect spacer to keep the SD card from being pushed in too far...
I hope your solution turns out well.

*shrug* I always catch people late, when it comes to this problem.

MY M3 Simply's spring broke and I played it, until it finally worked. Don't use the spring to take the SD card out, just use your nails or it will not load again.
