It says it has 1GB and not much, and there isn't a Micro SD port (unless it's inside the shell).

The N-Card uses a slot-2 USB adapter for transferring ROMS and updating the firmware.

Same, try the kernel I post above, extract the kernel files with 7zip to your 16gb sdcard

The first one had already tried it, but the time bomb hasn't gone away. No matter how much I clean it, it always gives me the error "Wrong Date or Firmware Expired"

Okey, try changing your date, and see if it works. 1 or 2 years before

Instead use TWiLight Menu++ or YSMenu. I do not suggest relying on the timebombed DEMON kernel.

EDIT: The latest R4i-SDHC kernel does not have the timebomb, you're safe to use it.

After years i found my 2ds collecting dust in a pouch.
To my surprise I modded it long time ago using an 8gb sd card. Got everything updated and swapped to a 128gb and dumped all my collection + a few rom hacks,
Along with it i found x2 R4 cards without SD and can't figure out how to make it work - I'd love to play my DS dumps on my 2ds without using the twilight menu with forwarder as it takes ages to load a game. I figured i could use one of those cards to play DS games but i can't get them to work, the first one is purple with a screw on the back. it shows star wars on my home screen. i tried without sd and shows that there is no card - then with r4itt_English_2.32 content but it stays on the loading screen forever (white BG with loading + smiley). pressing the home button quits the app.

the second one has no print and shows bomberman on my home screen. this one says no card when no sd is loaded and i did try with an old 2gb sdcard that came with that one but it shows an error on the screen "wrong date or firmware expired". (seeing the orientation of the chip below the sd slot leads me to think its a fake card)

Any help is much appreciated!

The R4iTT 3DS might work with the following Firmware: https://archive.flashcarts.net/r4itt.net/r4itt.net_3DS_NEW_RTS/BL2CK_1.31.0.zip

The white one seems to be one of these R4i Dual-Core cards. Afaik, these cards are known to have a time bomb (hence the "firmware expired" error). However, since the kernel varies with the year it is labelled on the card, I am not sure if it's compatible with YSmenu since there is no label on the card.

Since you are using a 3DS you could try using the flashcards with Twilight menu.

Thanks a lot fr your input @raxadian & @malekmaroc7 ! Little update:I found that 2gb sd card that belongs to the white card.
it boots under the Touch! bomberman Land game - I set my date to 2012 and boom! it worked! it shows r4isdhcdotcom on the top screen and V3.9 on the bottom screen. does that rings a bell?

I will try to boot the other r4itt card with the link you provided (edit: keeps loading forever) - i suppose it does not work with twilight?

Maybe the kernel's version number is 3.9? Although that's actually all what it gives as information.

Most probably the R4iTT card is not compatible with Twilightmenu. It may stick only to either YSmenu or it's original kernel.

Hi, I've got this flashcart. It works on my DSi but my 3DS with v11.16.0-49E won't let me start it (A problem has accurred etc.)
Is there a new update for this cart that lets me use it in a 3DS with 11.16 or maybe even 11.17?

Yours is an R4iTT Acekard clone, the BL2CK kernel is compatible with it.

Can someone help me with my r4? i'm pretty sure that i got the clone somehow, ive tried downloading the official firmware and it dont work, it keeps stucking in the loading... screen, i also try wood and ysmenu and still don't work, will u guys help me?

You have an original R4 clone that supports SDHC cards. It's possible to run RGF's YSMenu fork.

Have you tried with Twilight menu?
