Yeah, I predict 9.0-9.5 with the biggest flaw being homebrew support too (I've also heard that download play isn't too great either)

GUI can be skinned (in the Chinese version anyway, and I'm sure skins will be supported in the English version soon enough) so I doubt that'll be taken too much into consideration, but you never know.

I'd say 9. Homebew support is going to bring it score under the DS-X score.

i agree with the GUI person above.
i wish the games menu would have the moonshell look like g6 or supercard DS one.

and download play.. mm i dont really care for it.. and i dont think any other products are good at this department either..

so i guess it should be above 9.0 no matter what.

Cons being:
-3 points for homebrew
-3 ponits for interface(wich can be patched I hope)
-3 points for download play(but only a few games that do not work so far right?)

Download Play doesn't bother me, and i really like the SCDS GUI, but the R4 performs and thats all i want...9.2 is my guess.

I've got one of these and It's excellent, apart from homebrew (I wanna use Picodriveds sooo bad!). I've had no issues with any personal backups at all.

awaiting realhotstuff.com to get these cards in so i can order one. on a scale from 1-10 i think its gonna get a freakin trillion. (i don't care about homebrew)

Homebrew support is not their fault, they released the fatlibs on their website, it's just a matter of time untill it gets support from the devs(i hope).

As for the GUI; it's moonshell, it can be skinned! yes the default skin has some problems (mainly at the game selection screens, WHY AREN"T THEY INVERTED! it would have made way more sense to use the touchscreen to scroll through the list and launch games, instead of using it to display the game's name) but that doesn't mean that it cant be fixed. so it's just another hopefully non-permenant con.

as for download and play, i suppose this might be important to some people, but really... how hard is it to flash a ds, it's easy and it takes like 1 min. besides, some games work and others dont (as mentioned before), so it shouldn't be a big con.

You gotta factor in:

price
good build quality
increased storage
The free casing
Keyring holder (a gimmick but it is nice)

Haven't tested many homebrews so i dunno but beup works fine.

Download and play works for some games.

9.0 not any higher. Homebrew compatibility is low. DS Organize doesn’t work. A lot of homebrew games do not work. Download and Play is not even close to 100%. Plus the GUI is bad compared to the Supercard DS One. And I’m referring to the interface not the skinning options.
