Seems like I made the right choice! I chose the R4 as a replacement for the DS-X, and I can say I'm quite impressed with loader 1.10 already, not to mention future updates by the R4 team! DS-X is all flash and no substance, but the R4 team don't promise these functions (at least not publically, AFAIK) and man, they are pumping updates which are very useful.

Yes, I have friends...and when I mean you have no friends to play with.
Just like a lot of other people, a big chance is your friends say the DS is for little kids and play the 360, PSP because its hardcore.
And I doubt you do

swap the top screen to the bottom, there will always be new DS games so they will have to sort out download play for those games and some games will require more fixes to load properly.

change the backlit while in game (without a cheat code)

sort the problem with pokemon batte revlution!

I think that's a hardware issue and can't be fixed with an update.

If I'm not mistaken and for what I've read, the problem with PBR was because Flashcarts don't support Download play... so this update would fix that

I believe the R4 patches games on-the-fly. That's what the second loading bar is all about.....I think.
