English 1.05 will be released in the next couple of weeks

Omgz! That's like... forever!
I was expecting the update in like.. 2-3 more days (in time for when my R4 arrived)

All i want is a GUI that looks as good as the SCDS's. Perhaps not as many options though that would be nice as well.

1) Saves into a seperate folder: H:\Saves\

2) Swap the game list to the bottom screen and revamp the GUI. I can't believe they released a product with that kind of interfact.

3) Allow hiding of files and folders beginning with a period: \.shell\ for example.

if so then the chinese 1.05 and english 1.05 would be different wouldnt it??

they should just release the english 1.05 now.. skinning is all we want

then after they revise all that.. release 1.06 for their new changes

I doubt the team will reply directly so I'll tell you guys some of what I know.

English 1.05 will be released in the next couple of weeks, it will support skinning and will fix download play on many more games. The team hope hope to release Chinese and English firmwares simultaneously in the future.

And if any of you are holding out for a feature on the R4 (or even M3) to disable auto boot, and show in the main DS menu then don't hold your breath. The team have said its impossible due to the way the cart was designed.

Read my Supercard rumble review. It won't function like a normal rumble pak in conjunction with a slot 1 card. The rumble only works via patched ROMs running off the Supercard.

3. Why do you want a more 'graphical' look on the save converter and the rom trim progam? :S
It works excellent as it is and a more nicer graphical look is the least what I think someone would want :|
Although, a reverse option would be nice. To convert the saves to the other formats from R4.

Personally, I don't care how the program looks, but I want batch save conversion and batch trim functionality.

Shouldn't be hard to write that into the routine, converting a hundred or so M3 save files one at a time is not a fun thing to contemplate.

i would like to see them release the FULLY documented source code to allow other coders to produce apps, and maybe improve compatibility along with lots of other areas

I believe they said they either have or will release the source code. But personally, i would like to see someone come up with a GUI similar to the SCDSs, complete with options and such

Built in media functions instead of coping out by using Moonshell.

I would be very interested to see the firmware open sourced, if they actually did that. I would love to get into that code and do some cool things... like, for example, if the R4 can write to the SD card from the DS, why not give it the capability to download ROMs from a server on your home network? I think some other brand of card does that already. With a open source firmware, I or someone else could probably add a feature like that in a day or two.

thing is, why do they need the first menu anyways
they should combine the games and multimedia
both into the moonshell menu like SCDS or g6 lite.

i dont use the gba boot anyways.
