Hacking r4 card wont read at all!

I have bought an r4 card from china and it wont read at all. the trick where you put paper in it to push it closer to the pins doesnt work and ive tried different firmware and still nothing.

the website on the card and box is www.ndsill.net i bought it from best-mall.co.uk it works with 3ds but its only going to be used on ndsl

i have the latest dsi firmware on my dsi but the card is for my brothers dsl i dont know what dsl firmware there is.

Ds Lite haven't got any firmware. So it should work on a Ds-Lite. All i Can say format your card download the firmware. Open it up with win.rar then put in the root of your card.
Try to see if it boot up on a ds-lite.

Ds Lite haven't got any firmware.

ds lite most certainly does have firmware, however, it is not upgradable. well, unless you count flashme as an upgrade.

well you need to apply an update to the card

this will allow it to run on a DSi usings firmare 1.4.4 or below & 3DS's running 4.2.0-9

u run the update like a game, needs to be done on a DSPhat or a DSLite


i would run it on your brothers DS Lite while he is asleep or something
once updated you should be able to sort everything else out on the DSi you have
(you can delete the update file once you have applied it)

it doesnt read on any ds i have a ds phat and a dsi and my brother has a ds light none of them read the cart. so i have no way to update it.
