Hacking R4 3ds Revolution Theme trouble...

Hello everyone, im not sure if there is another post about this somewhere but i looked and could not find one... anyways... this is the trouble im having....
I've downloaded a few themes for R4 and tried numerous ways to get them to work, ive put them in system/theme, ive tried to put them in _rpg/ui and every R4 theme i try, makes the top screen all white and bottom all black and hard to see the settings.... but at the same time, themes i downloaded for the acekard work just fine... any idea whats wrong or did i get ripped, by that i mean ordered the revolution and got an acekard with the revolution sticker?

Why not just e-mail the team's support e-mail address and ask directly? I would've done that before asking here, then at least you'll have a backup plan in case no one responded here (which no one did).

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
