ROM Hack Quik guide to play a hacked guitar hero

Worked for me in no$gba 2.6a. Got in-game fine, though it was difficult to play of course.

it works in NO$GBA. err..kinda.. the top screen is just black when it goes ingame. so i can't see the notes

it might be playable in iDeaS on a fast pc. you can see everything (though has some glitches and flickering), strumming works..but my pc is not fast enough to play it with sound.

its unplayable in iDeaS on my C2D 1.6Ghz with 2Gb ram screen flickers badly.... and its veeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooow

at least you can map the buttons to a logical keyboard order.

just played on DS with the hack.. only used red and blue notes, because it was too confusing

still got 3 stars. yay? yay!

edit: NO$GBA 2.6a does the graphics just fine, but it seems 1.8ghz are not enough. it's playable..but..the song was too choppy... mapping the buttons to keyboard XCVB or something makes it very comfortable though.

edit2: i made progress on DS: i am now using red, yellow and blue notes

this is my first guitar game ever. and i think i will actually buy this.

lol try doing hard... hurts like hell but 4 stars 91% notes hit 91 note streak 122k points it killed....

The Save Data could Not be accessed. Please turn off and reinsert the ds card.

You're using wrong save type in no$gba. Set it to auto if you have 2.6a or EEPROM 64KBytes

for the rest it's the same as the arm9 replacement.

It's not working for me on Sakura, at the disk check screen it freezes at about 30% for me...

i think you mean the disk-checking screen, in which case you should be posting your problem somewhere else.
your problem is m3sakura not working, not guitar hero.
