Seriously. I've had issue opening the battery case with a wide selection of screwdrivers atm using this guide:

Is there either a workaround or a good screwdriver I could buy, likely in person and at a target or something?

buy a cheap micro-screwdriver set from homedepot or walmart those are perfect for that purpose

about $5-$11

Cheap stores in worse neighborhoods

. I live like 10 blocks from a meh neighborhood atm. Its not bad, but not great. And there's like every chain imaginable packed in there.
