Hacking quick n00b Q: wii iso burning in nero question...

so i burned an iso in nero... and it says burn complete.

then i stick it back in the computer, and there are no files on the disk...
does that mean i cant burn with that dvd burner?
or is that whats supposed to happen

I believe that this is correct, though I may be wrong. I have the same thing and do not have my chip yet to test it but normal pc drives are not able to read Wii discs anyway. There are only a few LG brand drives that will read them. So logically if all went well and you now have a working Wii disc, your pc drive should not be able to read it.

The issue is that Wii disks are in a file system that no OS can read. It's the same file system that GC disks uses (or similar anyway).

That's why the disks come out scrambled and we need to unscramble them. You can't open the ISO files in anything like ISOBuster either.

Maybe someone will make an updated version of something like GCTool that can read the disk contents but for Wii games.
