EDIT : As of today, Nintendont has pushed a new release that fixed this issue. You can now update safely to the latest version of the loader and use HID usb controller adapter on your vWii.

This is a workaround solution for people who can't play Gamecube injects on Wii U because of the dreaded black screen freeze on Nintendont startup. If you use USB controller adapters, this might help you.

tldr : There are 2 ways to circumvent this issue

1. Unplug any USB controller adapter during booting your gamecube inject (or Nintendont forwarder) and only re-plug it only after your game has started

or

2. Download the latest loader.dol that is reported to work with USB controller adapter plugged in on startup.
Replace your existing boot.dol file after renaming it in your root/app/nintendont folder on your SD card.

WARNING : Using TeconMoon's Wii VC Injector, do not use "Download Latest Nintendont from GitHub" feature as it will erase your working version

For those interested in knowing more, there already are issues and PR adressing the problem : https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/issues/712
Maybe @FIX94 will fix that one day. But, as of right now, there has not been any further development of Nintendont in a year. So this method is the only way to work around that problem for now.

I get this blackscreen as well, using Garys version or the newest or old version does not fix a problem. It seems like that it boots up, and shows two dots on top corner screen if you push a button you get text, but it is all messed up why this happens?

Skinredas, i just solved this by using the WiiVC injector. This has a feature to download the latest nintendont, and write a config to your SD card. Could you try it out? It solved my issue, next up, running pso ep 1&2 with BB support!

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
