Hacking Questions regarding emuNAND and "New" 3DS XL

I'm planing on getting the "New" 3DS XL some point soonish and was wondering, I have some emuNANDs backed up from my 3DS XL if anyone knows if it's possible to use a backup of a emuNAND from a 3DS XL on a "New" 3DS XL?
