Hacking Questions about shop channel + modmii

Hi all,

I have a few weeks ago soft modded a wii 4.2e using modmii.
When i go to shop channel it asks me to do a system update which i dont want to do.
Can i just use the modmii wizard and reinstall shop channel to latest?
Wont it just add that?
Also is wiiconnect24 safe to have on after softmodding?

yep, and yeps. I think you just need to install the shop channel wad...I forgot exactly what it was called though.

Currently the latest Shop Channel is v20 and it requires IOS56 v5662.

an if you have priloader make sure you have updates blocked, for disc an system. then use wii24. cause if not the big N will an are still pushing the 4.3 update through.an that could be your problem if you already used modmii, cause it will update the wad automatic. so check priloader, if you don't have it. get it.
