just get my N3DS today, i'm using GW with zelda exploit without any problem.

so far so good, but n3ds its a new system, everything new i have some questions:

1 - I know i can use emunand in N3DS, but since my sysnand is 9.0, how i update the emunand to 9.5 (the most updated supported for GW)

2 - can i install .cia in N3DS? like DLC and games?

3 - there are any limitation in GW + N3DS, besides emunand thing?

4 - its safe to update emunand using a rom? like codename steam, which requires 9.4 to run

1 - don't know
2 - yes, use big blue menu to install them
3 - the main ones are needing cubic ninja or OoT to boot and when you first boot gateway, 3d is messed up. This is fixed by closing and opening the n3ds.
4 - yes

From what i know, you can press "UP" on your directional key when entering Emunand, either into Gateway or Classic mode. And from there, launch a game like Codename Steam to update it over to ver 9.4.

i was reading 3dnus post but i dont understand well how it works... i download the whole fw as .cia and install it as a normal .cia with bbm???

yes,go in emunand and start bbm and install the .cia firmware previously downloaded(choose to down the one for n3ds if you have a new device or you can do some disaster),during install probably he skips some file and tell you that they are already imported, don't fear and go on,at the end your emunand was well served hot to 9.5.0-23 ;)

I have a new 3ds LL and GW on emunand 9.0J

How can I update my emunand to 9.4J at least?

Because I run the zelda majora mask JAP and it didnt update the firmware.

Is there a way I can do this with this game or mario vs donkey kong minna de land jap? How?

:gun:Gateway is dead  , go buy sky3ds:hrth:

i understood your point of view, i mean, you must have zelda or cubic ninja, and everytime you want to play, you must run zelda and stuff... its really painful

but i like to play eshop games, and some of them worth it =)

Really quick and easy :D also, you should just leave your system in EmuNAND like all the time, thats what I do
:gun:Gateway is dead  , go buy sky3ds:hrth:

I dont even find it that bad, not only does it only take 1 min to:

Put in Zelda -> Access Gateway -> Swap cards + go to EmuNand

Really quick and easy :D also, you should just leave your system in EmuNAND like all the time, thats what I do, unless you install .cia to sysnand or you want to access sysNAND stuff like data management (NOT recommended) It should never be
that much of an issue

I guess it could be if you put new .cia on everyday, its best to get like loads of them and copy them to sd card in 1 go and not take the back off the system often but yeh, unscrewing the back and putting it back on is the most tedious thing if you have
loads of files to add I guess

basically you let your 3DS in stand by mode forever? you never shut off?

:P Yeh, only problem is I did it one time when the Internet was still on and now I have the EmuNAND update nag, no problem though as it's not in SysNAND or anything

you cant just format your emunand? i think the update nag will vanish, plus, i remember seeing in the forum some post about delete some files from SD card to get rid off the update nag, but i dont know if will work in emunand
