Hacking Questions about M3 Slot 1&2

Hi all, been reading a few reviews and articles trying to make up my mind on a slot 1 and slot 2 combo and have thought about M3 as I have an old slot 2 cart. I have a few questions:

1) can this combo be used to run NDS browser
2) is this a good combo to have if not what is
3) what is the M3 Real?
4) Does the slot 2 have an internal battery. I want one without a battery if this does what slot 2 is batteryless
