Gaming Questions about Call of Duty: World at War

I have a few questions about this game:

How long does it usually take to get to 1st and 10th Presitge?
Is it healthy to stick to only one kind of specialty in Custom Classes?
I'm at lv 18 at no Prestige and I'm not very good yet. Is that normal?
Does it help if I listen to music while I play? And if so, what kind?
Should I complete Solo Campaign mode before playing Nazi Zombies and on XBOX Live?
Should I work towards Achievements or 10th Prestige first?
Should I complete Challenges even though I'm not at 10th Prestige?
How do you blow up cars? I can't seem to with my Frag and N* thingy Primary Grenades.
What takes out a tank better; Satchel Charges or Bazookas?
Is it ok if I'm a Sniper to be in one place the whole game taking down people?

1. It would take a few weeks even if you play alot

2. You could...If you're really good at it..
3. Yea its normal, I've raped people at level 45, so its all gooddd
4. Music is distracting to me, idk if you wanna try it out..
5. Definitely do campaign first, it gives achievements and practice..
6. Try prestiging first, the achievements come automatically

7. Challenges aren't that hard, just use the different guns it says to accomplish 100 headshots or kills, etc.
8. You can blow up cars, i think by shooting or grenade/rockets, r u sure u arent going for the already burnt ones??
9. Satchels would be hard to place sincce it is moving, but does more damage.. Bazookas r easy to shoot at them, but do less damage.
10. You should really switch places every now and then, b/c everytime you kill someone there's a killcam, shows where you are.. and guess what--thats exactly where they go when they respawn.

I'm sure of it. It just doesn't seem like they explode them. I'll try Molitov Cocktails later...

Does the Steady Aim Perk increase the accuracy of no-scoping, ADS, or both?

Its for scope kind of weapons, such as the M1 Garand-- U know like the rifles.
Not good for no scope smg stuf thoo.

I've heard that you Rank Up faster just from skill, not because the XP Needed requirements are lower or that you get more XP from Kills and Assists.
And Prestige Challenges? o.o What are those?

First prestige took me about 3 months, but I mainly played Nazi Zombies, so that took a lot of time.

No. Try to have variety. Like SMG, Assault, Sniper, etc.

I got really good around level 30 something, so yes, it's normal.

Personally, music distracts me, so I would say no.

It doesn't really matter. I beat the campaign after playing Nazi Zombies and multiplayer a lot, and it didn't really affect anything.

Yes, it's great for leveling up.

Honestly, I don't think you can. I might be wrong though, since I haven't played multiplayer in a long time.

Satchel Charges. It's what they're mainly for.

In my opinion, if you're sniping, you SHOULD be in one spot. Snipers shouldn't move around a lot unless they have a good secondary weapon to defend themselves when moving.

Also, to the guy that said about Steady Aim: It ISN'T used for rifles only but for hip-firing weapons. Iron Lung is the perk that you use to hold your breath longer when aiming down a sniper scope.

You can. There's a Vandalism Challenge which requires you to blow up cars.

I think hip firing weapons is when you fire without fine aim(not using Left Trigger)

That's what I'm thinking too, since when you use ADS you wouldn't be firing from your hip.

It doesn't. You can't have 2 people on 1 Xbox playing on Live together. I would know because I've been playing it a lot recently, and I've tried it recently. And when I posted before, I was giving my opinion. You acted like I was trying to bash whatever 67birdman said, which I wasn't.

Also, you can aim down any gun. Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, etc...If you'd rather take advice that isn't correct, go ahead. I have other things to do than help people that don't want to listen.

I was just saying that because my friends told me that it does (he said he would test it)
And by aim down, I meant the guns that you have to aim down to shoot correctly--like rifles.
