Hacking [Question] Would it be possible to change a ps4 controllers firmware?

Would it be possible to change a ps4 controllers firmware so that it will appear to a switch as if its a pro controller?
So that instead of having a bluetooth dongle plugged into switches USB port, you could maybe connect a ps4 controller to your switch through its built in bluetooth.

I doubt it.

Would be easier to port or write a BT stack for the switch, that allows those devices through the firmware.

In theory someone could try to figure out how to change it so that the switch recognised it as a pro controller.

Although it's possible there is something in the bluetooth hardware that would make it impossible.

I suspect we'll see a module for atmosphere eventually that just allows you to pair a ds3/4.

Having a ds4 that no longer works with a ps4, would be kinda annoying.
