    Somewhere, probably
I know the title name and author name are contained in the header part of a .CIA file, those are the ones displayed in the Home Menu. I'm looking for the string containing the app name that is displayed, for example, in StreetPass.

This may be a noobie question, since I never compiled a .CIA file. Thanks in advance for any answers.

It's inside the banner. Your best course of action would be to dump the game and create a new Banner with a AppInfo file that has your desired title in it and then create a new cia. Look for 3DSBannerMaker for more info.

I've checked the AppInfo once, and it didn't appear to be there. I'll check it again anyway, thanks.
