Hacking [Question] Visiting the Eshop on CFW

I'm sorry if it seems like i'm spamming questions. I've sen this topic several times within GBAtemp but I cannot find them and would like an answer. I understand that there is a chance of loosing specific installed CIAs on a device when visiting the Eshop. Some people mentioned that they just lost DLC while others lost games entirely. So, what will i loose if i access the Eshop? (Out of Region games, DLC, ect.?) I'm sorry if this seems like a simple noob question.

Whenever I visit the eshop it wipes my non-eshop downloaded DLC and updates.
While any updates or DLC I downloaded from the eshop remain.

yes i had usa region cias in my eur region console installed and an mk7 patch not dlcs.
