It's true. You're right, lad.

I hadn't considered it, being basically unplayable. It's the port of the gp2x version but it's rushed and not finalized properly: it's slow, the graphics are jerky and the sound is horrible, croaking and intolerable: it's a pity that no one has taken the initiative to fix these serious flaws.
I don't know of a Descent
pot, but I certainly wouldn't cook soup in it. 🤣 I can talk about Descent
port instead.

As for me, I put the files descent.hog, descent.pig, DScent.nds and midis.nfs in the folder "Descent" created in the root of the microSD. Remember each time to turn the music down to zero, otherwise the game crashes. Apart from that, the game runs perfectly, even with maximum graphic details: truly an excellent port.

And you can also use the many user levels, which must be placed in the same, mentioned folder. Keep in mind that it works well only on DS flashcart; instead from SD slot of a DSi it doesn't load all the textures, and there are serious graphic issues.
