ROM Hack [Question] Transfer a hacked game savedata to cartridge?

Hello, I'm new to the forums and to the 3DS consoles family. Is it possible to transfer .cia games saved data to the original cartridges? I've read that it is possible to do it between cartridges but I don't know if it is the same thing with hacked games. Thanks.

Yep. Use Checkpoint or JKSM. Just backup the save from the CIA, put the cart in, and then restore the save to the cart. Hacked games are basically the same as normal games, so it'll work just fine, (just backup your cart's save data!)
