The title says it all: is it possible (in theory or on practice) to use Streetpass and SpotPass functions in Homebrew CIAs (disregarding usefulness)?

sounds like theres potiental there... you can place streetpass into the hbl cia so you can send messages to other hbl users you pass and spotpass can be used to notify of updates and send online messages similar to what swapnote used to do...
