Hacking Question regarding the M3 Perfect CF

Does cart_save by Chishm work on the M3 Perfect CF? That GBA utility requires a slot-2 DLDI-compatible cart, but the M3 Perfect CF DLDI driver is reported as "Fails read alignment test, may be a problem for some homebrew"

Also, which CF types (not sizes) supports the M3 Perfect CF?
