Would it ever be theoretically possible to ever create a dsiware.cia made from a NDS rom game to be used on 3DS? It's not really relevant considering there are ds flashcarts out there and emulators and the like, but still wouldn't that be really cool if this were possible?!?!

Side note: i've never done any coding, created any hacks, or anything like that. Just an end user wondering if these types of things would ever be possible in the future.

Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, it is not possible due to the way dsi ware works on the 3ds.

To run dsiware, it is needed to install it in the NAND. While this is fine for dsiware, most nds games are just too large to install it in the NAND.

ah dang I didn't realize that fact. I know the size of ds games i just completely wasn't thinking about that fact lol.
