I'm pretty good at keeping up with most of the tech-talk that goes on, but one thing I've never fully understood are cIOSs. My ignorant guess is that they are similar to firmware and are sets of code that are required to run specific things like DVD playback, etc.
My overall question is that, I've been hacking my Wii since the beginning of the Twilight Hack and over that period of time I've installed so many random cIOSs and I have no idea what they do. I think I installed one for DVDx, then one for the backup launcher, then one for the 02 fix and possibly some others for other issues. Is there a way to check and see what all I have installed? Will "Any Title Deleter" do this? As a general rule of thumb, is only one cIOs needed at a time, or do they work together? I guess I'm just wondering if I should be cleaning up and deleting old or outdated IOSs and if it will have any effect on my Wii.
