I see, I ask because I managed to disable the deflicker in some Wii games, but it has some weird dots in the image:
Are those white dots present in the original Wii as well? Are they related to the 480p bug?
Edit: So, I hooked up my Wii via component cables, and noticed that the image quality is nowhere as sharp as the Wii U's upscaled 1080p via HDMI. Wii looks blurry even with 480p component + without deflicker.
And the white dots are not present, but rather replaced with subtle white lines.
I will test with Component in Wii U, but so far, vWii is looking better than the original Wii for me. (Better colors and image is crystal clear, thought the white dots were a vWii defect, but considering the image in Wii doesn't look clean either with those lines I can't really complain)
I can notice the chroma shift though.
