ROM Hack [QUESTION]Is it possible to edit the saves of GB Pokémon VC injections?

Title says it all.

I tried doing it the way that you would do the official versions of R/B/Y (dump your save with SaveDataFiler, rename the edited save "sav.dat", etc.), but I'm just told my save file is corrupt. :/

Are they encrypted? (Sorry if this is in the wrong place)

Are you making sure to delete the secure value from both the title and save when re-importing?
I wasn't able to re-import at all until I did that.

use JKSV. it auto deletes the secure value automatically. plus its open source
