Hacking [Question] Do i need to update PS Vita fw to remove old PSN account and add a new one?

Hello guys, i'm new to this scene, used to hack just Nintendo consoles like 3DS, N3Ds, WiiU and Nintendo Switch...
So i found an used PS Vita on 3.65 and i got it, but it's coming over mail, not here yet.
I was digging tutorials about H-encore and they always say i need to have a PSN account attached to the Vita in order to hack it using
H-encore...

My doubt is about to remove the old user account and link my new one to it, since it's on 3.65 and i can install Enso to coldboot it
right to the Henkaku, do i need to update my console firmware to 3.68 in order to connect it to a PSN Account?
I mean, just like on Nintendo systems, it will popup the update and will be mandatory to update it before the account linking?


I did some research on it but haven't found nothing clear about, i would appreciate any help provided here.

Do a full factory reset
Initialize but don't enable WiFi
Once the live area is up use the DNS to block updates
Create a new account

It was used to update specifically to 3.60 for henkaku and should block any other updates.
