Sorry to come back to such an old post. I thought the same thing but I had the same issue on a console running 3.36. That console of all consoles should be fine given that it's still susceptible to failmail as well.

this is true. I did it on 3.20 and 3.50. it's much more of pita on those firmwares. it's possible that there are further checks with 3.65. I know that injecting games is supposed to be possible on post 3.60, but I've never done it nor have I messed with the registry on that firmware. both my pstv and vita are on 3.60.
