Question about the firmware updates

    On the m3 simply box and website, it says: upgradeable Firmware ( OS / Bios / Kernel ). Can someone please explain what the difference between the three is?

    Nothing, just different names for the same thing. (although they aren't really the same, they are just used that way)

    Also, the updates are strictly software-based. Basically just new versions of the OS.

    BIOS: basic input output system
    kernel: central component of most operating systems

    For the basic purposes the BIOS is handled by the DS itself, whether M3 (the people) actually distinguishes between the three is another matter entirely.

    yeah. english isn't their first language, so just be grateful and leave them alone.
