Hello everyone!
- First, i want to apology for my bad english if it cause you an inconvenient.
_ So I want to solder the 0201 capacitors to the spot in the image. i've always fixed my own device myself (i'm an amateur in soldering) but this time the capacitor (0201) is too small and 4 side (Rectangle) look just identical to me i can't decide which side is the right side to solder.
So i want to ask you guys if it ok if i solder randomly 1 side or i have to buy a microcope to identify the right side.
Thanks in advance.

Would still suggest to solder under the microscope if you can get access to one, and verify the resistance/voltage drop in diode mode with a multimeter to ensure that everything is well connected.
Good luck!

Hi ! Newbie here, same situation (except i have a microscope) ! What are the specs of the caps you bought ? I bought those : 0201 1uF Ceramic X5R 20% 10v
And do we need the same specs for all 32 caps on top of the tegra chip ?
PS: And weirdly they are black idk if this is important

all i know for now is all the caps around the apu chip are as the same value. I don't know what black you mentioned at. can you upload a picture?

So i compared the one roll i bought to those on top of the tegra and they are black(maybe grey ?) and a tiny bit bigger.. so visually different, but from what i know the specs are the same from what i saw on a thread... so idk if i can safely solder them or if they gonna work..
Here's some pictures

the caps value are 0201 1UF 6.3V X5R 20% .maybe you just ordered the wrong caps. Mine are yellow and same size as the caps around the chip.
Edit : the price on the pic is my country currency ( roughly 2.5 usd ) .

Yeah i saw those ones recommended by someone just after i purchased mine.. but today the seller confirmed me that the specs are 0201 1uF 10V X5R 20% and that the color is just the brand so... i think its fine ? But maybe i'm gonna purchase the one you said just in case

Why don't you check them with a multimeter? If it say 1uF then they are capacitors.
