Hacking Question about Pokemon Ranger

Hey guys. My Pokemon Ranger will only work on my SuperCard SD mini when every option in "properties" is disabled... No trim rom, no Faster gameplay or whatever, no patch, no restart. etc. Is this normal? Am I really missing anything by doing this? Thanks!!

Now I have a problem. The game won't save. Well, it saved the first time. Then the next time I tried it said 'Game could not be saved, turn off the DS" Then I turned it on and my save file was gone

i play the game on supercard minisd with enable restart, trim rom, faster play game, dma, patch cartrige access high and it works perfectly. perhaps you could check your minisd card with windows for any issues

My only problem with the game was that the save data was apparantly corrupt, although I changed the settings so it should be fine now.
