I'm sure most people noticed the volume levels in Ouendan 1 are lower than in Ouendan 2.

Is it possible to some how raise the volume for the music in the Ouendan 1 rom, without sacrificing even more quality?

If so, how would I go about doing this?

You could try using Earphones.. [IMG]

I don't think there's a way to change the volume in the ROM though...

Thanks. I see something about volume under sdat, but I have no idea how to utilize this information. Do I use some kind of program to make use of this info?

No there is no sdat editing app that I know of (and it is an area I follow fairly closely). You will have to find the offset for the file in question (different amount and size of files in sdat: different offsets for sub files).
Have a read of some of the links/posts in the DS sound files reverse engineered thread if you want a different take (the link above is more along the lines of creating a C? app/class/library)
Edit: I should have given this in the initial post.
