First off, about files transferring: How do I transfer files from my PC to the Vita without having to update to 3.57? I installed QCMA but it doesn't seem to work, every time I choose the connect to PC through USB option, the Vita just returns me with "Could not connect to a PC". For the record, I've turned on Airplane mode and restarted my Vita before connect it to my PC. My QCMA setting have "Disable USB monitoring", "Disable Wifi monitoring" and "Offline mode" checked.

    About remote play:
I have a hacked PS3 that is running on Rebug Cobra cfw (if I remember correctly). Can I use my Vita to remote plays it? Is there any restriction (ike limited amount of games or lag or low framerate, etc)? Can I use my PS3 through the Vita, essentially accessing it from everywhere as long as internet connection exists?

    Last one: About hacking
How stable is the PSP emulator on a 3.55 Vita? Is there any noticeable difference in graphics and framerate between PSP games downloaded from PSN store and PSP games play through emulator? It seem like the Vita's native resolution is twice the amount of the PSP's native resolution so maybe when you're playing an emulated PSP game, the game is running at 480x272 resolution but stretched to 960x544 whereas playing the same game downloaded from PSN is natively 960x544? What about video playback? Does playing video in emulated PSP environment means the video is playing at 480x272 and stretched to 960x544 too?
Last but not least, can you borrow someone PSN account that already have exploited games on it and use one of those games to hack your Vita?

You shouldn't have "disable USB monitoring" ticked. other than that, your tick-box settings should be fine.
Also, did you make sure your CMA protocol selection is set to "manual" and the CMA protocol version is set to 3.30? (I'm basically reading out the (working) settings that I set up.)
    It might work then.
Of course! It's just like any other normal remote play session. :)
PSP emulation on the Vita is 99.5% perfect in my opinion! I haven't come across any issues with it myself. Oh, and by the way, it makes no difference if you download a PSP game from PSN or grab an ISO from the net, it will always be played through the same PSP emulator software on the Vita.
Visual quality is actually pretty good! you also have the option to add a bilinear filtering effect if you hold down the home button as well. :)

Thanks a lot for answering me, really. That cleared up quite a bit.

Edit: Your QCMA tips didn't work for me, welp.

Maybe try Vita Update Blocker? (I think you need to set up some proxy settings on the Vita before you run it. The instructions/usage is on the download page though. :))

Does Vite update blocker even work on 3.55?

Of course it does! You just can't access PSN stuff. It's basically used for the sole purpose of bypassing the update in Content Manager Assistant.

I have apparently encountered another road block.
So I restarted both of my PC and my vita, turned on QCMA with your recommended setting, vita with no wifi. Then I tried to connect to PC through cable again, this time the update prompt doesn't show up neither does the failed to connect to PC announcement but instead, it asked me to sign up onto PSN.
The problem is, it asked me to update again once my wifi is on and I tried to sign up (just how obnoxious is this thing?). I use vita update blocker to circumvent this but now I got an NWL something error every time I try to sign up.

EDIT: FUCK YES I SOMEHOW DID IT
    HOW
