Hacking Question about downloading games from Store without updating

Hello there! i wanted to download my God Of war 3 game a while ago and i didnt start my ps4 until now because i need to play through every game in the series. now i ve plsyed ever one except 3. and the new one.
and today i wanted to check it and my ps4 downloads it *-* ! but does it download the software update too?
i ve tried to download another game... but it tells me to update my firmware ^^ sooo i hope it does work without updating!
can you tell me if it will download an update?
btw i am on 5.00

yeah that is the case
i ve started the download 2 months ago i gues ^^
and now it keeps downloading... and no softwareupdate here

My guess, upon download start ticket verified, now upon resume 2 months later ticket is still valid.

Interesting to know, but not majorly useful.

yeah i hope that it does not download the update too... i still cant see any update file here Lets pray i guess ^^

Nah if game doesnt require update I soubt it would.

Have you turned off auto update and such options?

nope still not finished
my downloadspeed is low...
i ve got 20 mbits though... wonder how this is possible...
i ve heard of low donwloadspeeds on ps4 pros

Soo i ve rebootet the ps4
and NO Update! i guess that the update has not downloaded!
the gamws are ready to play^-^
i am happy with it

question though, can i update the games without the need of software update?
