So that's what that shit meant? I always thought the 'b' stood for "beta", and the exclamation mark was just some gibberish ...
Then again, I don't have that much smart anymore.

STANDARD CODE NOTES
                      Â
[a] This is simply an alternate version of aÂ
ROM. Many games have been re-released toÂ
fix bugs or even to eliminate Game GenieÂ
codes (Yes, Nintendo hates that device).Â

[b ] A bad dump often occurs with an older Â
game or a faulty dumper (bad connection).
Another common source of ROMs is aÂ
corrupted upload to a release.  Â
    Â
[f] A fixed game has been altered in some way
so that it will run better on a copier Â
  or emulator.              Â
    Â
Something in this ROM is not quite as itÂ
should be. Often a hacked ROM simply hasÂ
a changed header or has been enabled toÂ
run in different regions. Other times itÂ
could be a release group intro, or justÂ
some kind of cheating or funny hack. Â

[o] An overdumped ROM image has more data Â
than is actually in the cart. The extraÂ
information means nothing and is removedÂ
  from the true image.          Â
            Â
[t] A trainer is special code which executesÂ
before the game is begun. It allows youÂ
to access cheats from a menu.     Â
         Â
[!] Verified good dump. Thank God for these!

^^ Thanks man, now I know once and for all.
Seriously, I don't know why I never looked it up. It's like those codes in movie Torrents like 'TS', 'DVDSCR' or 'Proper', which took awhile before I figured them out, but never looked up for some reason.
