Hacking Question about 1.0.0 switch, emummc and nogc option.

My switch fw version is 1.0.0 I set up emunand and atmosphere via nereba and pegascape (atlasnx/kosmos package). Now i want to update emunand. And since my fw is 1.0.0 i want to be sure that game card slot don't burn fuse while i use emunand. This is my hekate_ipl.ini

I add kip1patch=nogc but it didn't work. Game card slot still enabled in emunand and switch can play game cards. What i did wrong? How can i disable game card slot?

Try autonogc=1.

You have autonogc enabled (autonogc=1), the nogc patch only is enabled when is needed in your case is when the emunand is updated to 4.0 o higher.

I tried to set it to 0. No difference. Game card slot still work.

Your EmuMMC is still on 1.0.0? That’s why it doesn’t work...

Yes. I tought that i can disable slot in 1.0.0 emunand. Before updating.

So, i can't disable game card slot in 1.0.0 emunand? And i can't be sure that game card slot disabled?

Don't exist nogc patch to 1.0 firmware because is not needed. You can't disable gc slot in any firmware lower than 4.0.

Thanks for your answers. I updated emunand to 8.1.0 and still able to use game card slot in 1.0.0 sysnand. autonogc=1 works fine, i guess.

Standard Kosmos + PegaScape pack from sdsetup with default hekate_ipl.ini
