    asm is Assembly, right? I know someone who knows Assembly who might be able to help. You'd just need to give me the file you're looking at and what exactly he should look for within that file or code.
    Don't depend on this though as there's still a good chance nothing will come of this but it's worth a shot, right?

    the person needs to test the game and debug it using disasm of ppsspp, that's what i think they do.

    Concerning the coding or char limit stuff, not really, we haven't even heard back from our own hacker.

    We've been advancing with the translation tho, all the stages are done now, we're moving next to items, quotes, movies and other things.

    (Also, we've started releasing video translations of this game's spiritual successor of sorts, QB White Triangle, if anyone's interested)

    The translation is very useful, if there's any discord for that queen's blade triangle or are there any more guides or translation regarding language and game-play barrier?

    Ah sure, in our Discord we got a few channels for QB WT with several guides and stuff.

    But let's not get sidetracked now :), we're still very much in need of some help for longer character limits in many screens.

    Edit: Oh, we seem to have run into another problem, now that we're reaching the character bios, which is that the game makes a new line there whenever there's a space (unlike what Flame thought at the beginning):

    For now, there's the option of using any other Shift-JIS symbols (like here) instead of a space, but we're not entirely satisfied with the results:

    I remember bypassing it, but it was a stretch issue with the encoding at the time.. spaces weren't exactly spaces or being turned into them. Should be an easy fix.

    For the shop items, I say we increase the size of the gui window for one, and also we will make a new font replacement like they used to do/still do for character maps, or replace where the jump goes to our new offset for text which seems to be bitmapped.. It's been awhile since I've built/tested anything on this project but I am still down for making it happen. I have just been busy with commodore64 and genesis asm type stuff. Also have been moving and having not a lot of free time to do such things, but wish to get back to the newer asm file i was working on, and not sure yet where all files have been edited and all.. need a recap on latest dev and on latest file revisions as well as stock before eboot changed iso/bin's. On a side note ppsspp i need to recompile and get working under gentoo again since i switched vid cards to some new stuff.. Thanks, -SiX

    Hi guys, sorry if it's been a while since we last updated, but we've been making lots of progress. So much so, we're intending to release a pretty decent beta before the end of the year!

    But we'd like to ask for a little bit of help before we can get to that:
    While we're putting the finishing touches on the videos, I noticed one error we can't fix ourselves: in the Script spreadsheet, the s2_new file with the character profiles seems too big now, and doesn't let the game enter any battle (it freezes after you select the moves and confirm).

    The previous version (column F) was 30026 chars long, and that worked fine, but our new version (column G) is 32122, and after my experiments, anything beyond basically 30k breaks the game. If we could borrow space from the stages it'd be fine, since most stages have around 2k chars by the end (capturing quotes) that aren't used in most cases... but it doesn't work.

    And that's not counting that for some reason the profiles there have the letters squished together, and if we add spaces so it looks good (see pics, I created a "s2_new_post" tab in case we do need the spaces), it rises to around 47736 chars.

    Do you guys know if there's any possibility we can expand that string file, to reach at least the 32k we want?
