Similar to the TP save hack, I was just wondering if there are any save hacks for TP (or other games) that let you do things you could normally only do with an action replay?

not like that, no. the savegame can't keep certain memory addresses locked afterall (i.e. unlimited energy).

okay, what about something similar to the R4 cheat system?
Maybe boot up the TP hack, load an AR-clone.elf and a list of cheats then insert a specific wii game?

The current only way to cheat(AR method) in Wii games is Gecko Region Free.
You will need a USB Gecko, and then you can manipulate the Wii's memory on your PC.

The only method of cheating on Wii games at the moment is as Timmyhawky says. This opens the door for groups to begin creating trainers for games etc.
