I just tried the Proof-of-Concept version of Q2REV and when I loaded it in The Homebrew Channel it blacked the screen. I unplugged the system and tried again. Same black screen. I unplugged it and tried again. My Wii wouldn't turn back on. Currently it is sitting there with the A/C cord plugged into the Wii but not into the outlet. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE THIS VERSION OR ANY OTHERS UNTIL HAS BEEN TESTED THAT IT IS 100% STABLE. Any ideas how to get it to turn on? Or did I kill it for good?

Plugged in the Wii A/C cord, light turned on. Attempting to boot Wii...

It turned on! Attempting to run HBC...

    It worked!

This has nothing to do with the fact that Q2REV killed my Wii for a while. This could have been permanent, so PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS HOMEBREW. But it's just like WiiSX. The version is so young it just goes to a black screen. So I wouldn't even know why you would download it if it just went to a black screen. So this topic is for the producer and stuipid people.

This is the exact reason why the source has been removed for the Q2Rev... Its unfortunate, because this is the only port I could get extremely excited about. [IMG]

I hope he's still working on it and is having some luck with it. I've offered to help and have heard no response [IMG]

Update: Q2Rev2 has been released today!

I cannot wait to get off work today to give this a try... With full online support, this could be the greatest thing to hit homebrew in a long time!!
